ETHNOS presents an interactive, family-friendly, and engaging performance highlighting the music of South and East Asia as part of City of Austin’s Planet Music Series. Held in the ballroom of Asian American Resource Center (8401 Cameron Rd Austin, TX 78754), this event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Audiences should expect an exciting interactive concert experience highlighting unique combinations of instruments, styles, and music concepts from India, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
Ask-i Mesk performs a blend of urban and classical Turkish music in a manner similar to what you’d hear at a traditional urban night club in Turkey. This will be our final performance of the year with Professor Sonia Seeman before she embarks on field research. Music begins around 6:30p.
